Fratelli Alinari, founded in Florence in 1852, is the world’s oldest photographic agency. Despite its reputation, it may be forced to close. Since 22 November 2013, an Italian website dedicated to protecting Italy’s cultural heritagehas appealed for help to save Alinari.
